Southern Arizona Press (SAP) is currently accepting submissions for the following upcoming anthologies:
Ghostly Ghouls and Haunted Happenings - All poets are encouraged to submit poetic works with a Halloween theme.
Submissions will remain open for this anthology until 15 August 2022 with an anticipated publication date in early-September 2022
The Poppy: A Symbol of Remembrance - This book will include the history of the poppy and how it became a symbol of remembrance for the fallen men and women of World War I, a section of remembrance poems by World War I poets, and a section of new poetry in remembrance of fallen men and women of all wars written by 21st Century poets. All poets are encouraged to submit poetic works of remembrance of fallen military men and women with a special emphasis given on those poems that include references to the poppy to be included in the 21st Century poets section of this book. The inspiration for this book is John McCrae's poem "In Flanders Fields".
Submissions will remain open for this anthology until 30 August 2022 with an anticipated publication date in Mid-September2022.
